About
Senses of accomplishment and emptiness roll in as tension is released. At the end point, having stacked the pieces so they don’t get fall. I walk with a fragile joy and sorrow.
‘Night Walk’ is a dance installation performance.
The feeling of excitement walking home after a special night, mixed with a subconscious dread that nothing in the future might better this moment. Colours and sounds unique to the night, contrasting against the darkness.
Night Walk premiered as part of Kanagawa Prefecture’s MAGCUL theatre program at the black box venue Kanagawa Prefectural Youth Centre, Studio HIKARI. The duration is 60 minutes and involves 2 dancers, installation, sound and projection.

The dance, which makes us think of the relationship between the main body and the shadow, succeeded in capturing the atmosphere of the night with the invisible body (can’t capture by conscious)…. I think that Anna Kuroda’s choreography is a work that contains something that spills out from the stylistics and an excellent physicality (something that can be called an oriental feeling that comes from the ‘night body’), based on the keyword of “night” and her own position in the work.

内容
張り詰めた緊張感が解けて、達成感と虚無感が訪れる。落ちないように積み重ね、その一つの終わりには、儚い嬉しさと哀しさと歩いている。
Night Walkは、ダンス展示パフォーマンスです。
特別な夜を過ごした後、家路につく時の高揚感と、この瞬間を超える未来は何もないのではないかという潜在意識の恐怖が入り混じります。夜の色彩と音は 闇に映える。
神奈川県マグカルシアター参加公演によるブラックボックスの会場青少年センタースタジオHIKARIで初演されました。上演時間60 分、ダンサー 2 名、美術、サウンド、プロジェクション。
