The first week of our Brand X residency has finished. These are photos from our research progress.
There was lots of discussion about the sound of singing bowls before starting to move. We put a couple of bowls in many different positions in the space and distances apart to hear the differences.
We experimented with imitating the actual instruments’ vibration.
We started as simple as we could, then developed into more free improvisation.
We worked on lots of frequency-based patterns and found lots of interesting ideas.
