We would like to announce good news! Murasaki Penguin has been selected as a DAIR (Dance Artists In Residence) Residency Artist, a project run by Ausdance NSW.

The title is ‘Depth’. We will research about the depth and dimensionality of movement. I (Anna Kuroda) will approach this DAIR residency as a choreographer and dancer with Kei Ikeda, working with speed (persistence of vision), positioning, rotation and aspect in movement. David will approach as a sound and multimedia artist – focussing on ways in which to use interactive projection and sound without restricting dancers’ movement to two dimensions (a current limitation of much tracking technology).
Our residency starts from 12th of May at the Ready Made Space in Ultimo. We will upload about the DAIR residency on our blog.

タイトルは「Depth」です。３次元の空間に対して「奥行き」の動きについて調べていきたいと思っています。私は振付と動きについて、池田慧さんと一緒にリサーチしていきます。特に動きの速さ、残像、位置、関節の内旋・外旋などを調べたいと思っています。デイビットは映像と音を使って特に２次元からダンサーと関わっていきます。
５月１２日からReady Made Space(ウルティモ)にて始まります。DAIRレジデンスのプロジェクトについてはこちらのブログでどんどん更新していきたいと思っております。
