About
‘Static Cocoon’ is a dance/video/sound collaboration between Japanese contemporary dancer Anna Kuroda and Australian sound and multimedia artist David Kirkpatrick. It was staged on Sunday 31 January at the Japan Women’s College of Physical Education (JWCPE) Showcase 2010. The work explores human distance created by an increasingly digital world.

日本女子体育大学ショウケース冬にて上演されたムラサキペンギンの初作品。いつか家から一歩も出なくなってもなんでも手に入れる事ができる世界が今ここにあるかもしれない。デジタルが生んだ人間との距離。
