Fairfield On Film, for which David built a touch-screen movie player app, won the 2018 ‘Exhibition Programs – Museums’ IMAGinE Award for small/medium organisations. The app displayed videos created by CuriousWorks and was deployed on pedestal-mounted tablets for the exhibition.
The IMAGinE awards are run by Museums & Galleries of NSW, recognising “the people who work in museums and galleries across NSW and the contributions they make”. The Fairfield On Film exhibition “explored the evolution of Fairfield’s film industry, tracing the emergence of early picture palaces to the modern burgeoning film sector reflective of our society.”
