Fairfield On Film, for which David built a touch-screen movie player app, won the 2018 ‘Exhibition Programs – Museums’ IMAGinE Award for small/medium organisations. The app displayed videos created by CuriousWorks and was deployed on pedestal-mounted tablets for the exhibition.
This is the final week to experience ‘The Nightline’ at the abandoned Bow’s restaurant in Blacktown. “Step into an exclusive underground listening club designed for insomniacs, night owls, lonely-hearts and dreamers.” There will be 3 shows each night on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. David will be there operating.
The Nightline was created by Roslyn Oades, Bob Scott and collaborators. It is part of Urban Theatre Projects’ ‘RIGHT HERE. RIGHT NOW.’ festival.
We have been working on our new project in Studio 404, Parramatta. This residency was given to us by Form Dance.
The new work’s idea is based on Dove Lake, Cradle Mountain, Tasmania. Anna visited during a residency with Reina Kimura through Critical Path last year. There are lines of bubbles on the surface on the lake in the picture above if you look closely.
