We are excited about making a new work, collaborating with Kian Peng Ong for Adaptations at Singapore Art Week 2019. It will be our second development of Motion Theory.

シンガポールアートウィークのプログラム「Adaptations」でオンキアンペンと再びコラボレーションします。前回の作品Motion Theoryを発展させた新作を発表します。

Technology is no longer exclusive to scientists, engineers or technologists. It has become an integral part of our everyday lives, and the hurdles to access them have been reduced in part thanks to the DIY maker movement and the rise of the new media art.

Organised and curated by independent art space Supernormal, Adaptations is a group exhibition that focuses on the intersection between art and technology.

Adaptations looks at the challenges and potentials that technology can pose in a social, cultural and artistic landscape. How can artists work with technology in a meaningful and poetic way? The artists presenting in this exhibition come from varied backgrounds with a range of practice such as sound, sculpture and new media.

There will be an opening performance by Murasaki Penguin and Ong Kian Peng.

We will update you about our development process along with performance, workshop and artist talk details soon. Please get involved and stay tuned!

パフォーマンスの会場はギルマン・バラックス、他ワークショップやアーティストトークの日程、創作過程のブログは後日こちらにアップしますので是非楽しみにして下さい!
